TeleMedical+ are aware of the pivotal role of training, in both the strategic and operational perspectives of delivering an excellent and competitive service, in any commercial venture. Experience and understanding of the unique needs of the maritime and remote environments has informed and directed the development of our targeted learning packages.

Course attendance may be eligable for CME/CPD credits from the appropriate professional bodies

 

 

Radiography Training
(Primary on-board)
A one day modular approach, facilitating operator training where staff availability is limited by ship's schedules.

Radiography Training
(Primary shore-based)
For Nursing staff, Medical staff and health care professionals. This is a two and a half day land-based course providing essential operator training for emergency plain film radiography. The theory module is accredited with IPEM ( Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine) .

Radiography Refresher Training
(On-board)
Building on earlier modules and informed by image quality assurance audit, this targeted training addresses client's specific needs and provides continuing professional and medical education for staff. All radiographic training is delivered by senior superintendent radiographers.
 

 
 

Ultrasound User Training
(Delivered at either shore-based locations or on-board)

his familiarisation course provides the potential user with essential practical information. Provided by consultant radiologists. For medical staff only.

Image Evaluation
(Delivered on-line by consultant radiologists)
This educational package links to the operator training above and allows the doctor to improve their interpretive skills and thereby reduce risk. This is of optimum value where Teleradiology is unavailable or involves delay.
